The 2391-10 Pre Practical Assessment Course at The Builder Training Centre is designed for those who are due to undertake the 3 hour 2391-10 practical assessment or anyone who wishes to gain an insight into the requirements of the assessment prior to booking the 2391-10 training course.  The small class size enables students to build on previous experience and increase their confidence prior to their practical assessment.

Course Content: 
 

Overview of the statutory duties and safe working practices

Outline of the requirements, with hands on practice, for the Inspection, Testing and Certification assessment including:

 

Inspection requirements and identification of sensitive equipment

Correct use of test equipment

Safe isolation procedures

Continuity of Protective Conductors

Insulation Resistance Tests

Polarity Tests

Earth Fault Loop Impedance Tests (including Ze, Zs, PEFC and PSCC)

RCD Tests

Requirements for Special Installations

Correct completion of Certificates and Recording of Results

General advice and guidance in preparation for the practical assessment

Pre-requisites:

 

Practical experience of inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations

 

 

Our facilities cater for men and women!  You will find our prices are competitive, and include the use of all tools and materials for your 2391 Pre Practical Assessment Course whilst you are here, but for health and safety reasons you are required to wear steel toe capped footwear throughout the course.  These can be purchased from reception on your first morning for £20 if required.
