On completion of the package, students would normally apply to register with one of the governing bodies, such as ELECSA, NAPIT, NICEIC.  Before being allowed onto their scheme, an inspector will assess your work activity to make sure it is being carried out competently and in accordance with the relevant regulations.  The assessment will ensure that you are operating to a competent level by checking work that has been carried out on-site and assessing individual knowledge.  Please note that it is the decision of the governing body to decide whether to accept you onto their scheme and you will need to gain experience before doing so.
