Controlling your personal information
When filling out our application form, you may opt out of receiving details of other courses, products and offers that we provide by ticking the relevant box. On the other hand, if you decide to opt into receiving these details, you can opt out at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org using the title ‘unsubscribe’.
Where we store your personal data
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Where you have signed up for a qualification course, we may disclose your personal data to City & Guilds and/or EAL for the purposes of learning, assessment and certification. If you are booking a course on behalf of someone else, you must obtain that person’s consent prior to providing his/her personal information to us.
Where you have consented to receiving ongoing details of information, products or services provided by The BTC, we generally use the services of Mailchimp. Details of how Mailchimp process your data, which includes your name and email address, can be found at www.mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. You can opt out of receiving emails from Mailchimp at any time.
We will not disclose or share your personal data with any other third parties, unless we have your permission or are required by law.

Access to information
