Overview

With the rise in Electric Vehicle (EV) sales, the demand for EV charging points is increasing. To support electricians in meeting this demand, The Builder Training Centre (The BTC) offers the City & Guilds 2921-31 EV Charging Installations Online course. This course is designed for qualified electricians who want to learn about the technical requirements and practical considerations when installing EV charging points for public, private, and business customers.

Focusing on domestic and small commercial installations, the course has been updated in line with BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2 and the fifth edition of the IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Installation. It primarily covers small-scale EV charging installations.

When booking the online 2921-31 online course, you will have the choice of either taking the 1-hour multiple choice exam at our training centre or completing it remotely from your home. Your computer will need to meet the City & Guilds technical requirements for remote invigilation, and you will be required to have a webcam with a microphone.
